The adventure story of Buck, a proud dog who learns to survive in the harsh artic wilderness. Taken to work as a sled-dog in the frozen Yukon during the gold-rush, Buck is forced to rediscover his primeval instincts. He and the other dogs are cruelly beaten until Buck is saved by John Thornton.
